Chamina Voyage booked us into the Brit Hotel in Cahors for one night as a stop on the Chemin de Compostelle. It was very conveniently located near our start point and the train station and it is close enough to the center of town to make it an easy walk to restaurants and sights. . The reception and breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spartan and dated, but clean. It could certainly use a make-over. I've stayed here 3 different times while walking the Camino and the staff this time was just lovely and helpful.

Dark and dingy hotel in need of an update. The place needs to be painted and new carpets and fittings installed. 12 minutes walk to old town on a poorly lit road

Nice and clean, friendly staff very helpful. They are has a staff in the night it’s very good But it’s check out 11 am it’s early

We last stayed here in 02/16 and liked the hotel so much that when we had to return to Cahors we immediately rebooked. The hotel was comfortable before but we were delighted to find that our room had obviously been recently refitted and modernised. The breakfast was excellent, the room comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. One small criticism: although there is a desk space to work there was no plug to connect the computer. Nor were there plugs on each side of the bed to connect telephone chargers. This was slightly incovenient, especially when the WiFi is excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

Good two star hotel close to the station and the Valentre bridge. The room was comfortable, very clean, towels fluffy..... welcoming with a fast and efficient reception desk. Ideal for the traveller on a budget, would be happy to visit again.
